Thanks, we'll recreate (from scratch) our indexes tonight.
The browse is defined and executed in code but it seems the ESL/FoxUser was treating it like we issued a Browse Last...which we did not.

If so, I'd like to suggest that you create that definition in code as a part of your BROWSE command. Unless you have some very exotic stuff in this BROWSE of yours you can do almost all of that work in code. Much more stable and less prone to problems like you are currently dealing with.
