I tried DoEvents sprinkled throughout my code before I posted my thread. After much laboring, I realized that the events were happening too quickly. Something was firing before the field was actually changed. I created a procedure Wait() and after putting in in the appropriate location, everything worked fine. Thanks for your help though, I almost gave up, my tenacity paid off.
