how ugly is 'ugly'? Maybe we can offer a wrapper using CLSHeap or STRUCT to handle the structure issues, and limit the distribution to just the one DLL? It's especially attractive now that ME has incorporated support for Zip files right into the Explorer, and the odds are there's a Shell call to do the unzip stuff right from the WinAPI...
