Java is a fragmented standard at best. How many apps have you heard of that have been written in Jave. From a maturity standpoint the language is not there. It is still evolving. Perhaps its most successful implementation will be in C#..< bg >
Delphi is a good tool. However, there are going-concern issues with inprise/borland.
C is not exactly the most efficient language for building business apps
For Fox developers, VB is the logical place to go as it is the most similar alternative. VB is capable of a lot of things. It gets short-changed around here. Maybe if folks took the time....no, that won't happen...< s >...
