Thanks for you response. I have both a view and a table in the DE at design time. Perhaps you can see domethin wrong with my amembers statement:

=amembers(lcCursors,This.Name,1)

In any case, I'm working around the problem by hardcoding the property change I need:

This.Cursor1.database="xxx"
