Sure, a large animal needs to consume large amounts of nourishment. And Microsft is certinly a top feeder. <g>

However, then if your presumptions are entirely vcorrect one must ask why MSFT continues to spend developme $$ on it. Why not move Calvin to the VB develpoment team?

As for the future 10 years? I figure that unless someone from the dBASE2000 team (www.dbase2000.com) moves that product to Linux we'll continue to use VFP. If that should happen either MSFT will respond or not and we'll just have to wait and see.

Now... What happens if someone develops VB for Linux? *eg*
