I'm not sure what kind of trouble you are describing for MS. I'm not thinking that half a million developers would descend upon Redmond with torches and stones :). Perhaps a new Monty Python movie?

As far as legal action, I've never heard of a business getting in trouble for not creating a newer version of a product. MS is not going to walk in and take your copy of FoxPro off your desk.
