Save each keystroke in a property, adding (or substracting for the backspace).
Then use this value for your search

>yes, I ran that quikdemo. It does what it's supposed to do. But what I want is a little furthur. I want the closest matches that the user types to be displayed in the dropdown portion, allowing the user to click on a choice.
