Weird, I posted almost the exact same question about 4 or 5 months ago. No one had a definite answer for me, so I went ahead and tried it. The app is in production now, running on 25 workstations, and works much better than before.

I have a loader exe that's written in VFP 6, which calls the app (still compiled under VFP 5).
