When I create a connection programmatically using the following:

create connection MyConnection connstring "MS Access 97 Database; DBQ = c:\MYFile.mdb"

The connection is created in my database, but when I try to run a remote view with the connection, the 'Select Datasource' dialogue box pops up.

I've tried creating the view through the wizard and the datasource is located properly, but then I am asked to locate the database even though I pointed to it when I created the query.

Do you know why my create connection command doesn't work (asks for datasource) or why when I create the view with the wizard it doesn't work (asks for database)?


I'm working in VFP 5.0 on this one.
