I am trying to use ADO in VC++ to access SQL 7.0. Consequently, I need to set up a DSN via
ODBC Data Source. I create a DSN in NT and it works fine. However, when I try to setup a DSN
for the local SQL on a Window 98 machine, it keeps connection failure. (It used to work, then
stop working for no reason I can see. I have not changed anything on that machine, except I have
internet dial-up access on that PC.) The error message says to check Network Setting. Does my
internet service provider's stuff crewed up the SQL connection? But I do not see any network
setting problem on that machine. Did I miss something? Anybody can give me some help?
