David,

>I met a gentleman this last weekend who owns a car dealership. He has a system that is written in FoxPro 2.0 LAN on an Novell network. It would cost a chuck of money to upgrade it. Of course, it works then why fix it. His server is a P75 and I suggested to get a new machine with Windows NT. Are there any problems with running FP2.0 on a NT network?

Maybe someone else will know for sure, but it seems like I remember a message from Lisa Slater-Nichols a few years back, warning people to upgrade to FP/DOS 2.5 from FP/DOS 2.0 because of timing issues on faster processors.

I can't remember just what the problem was, but another one I can think of that might bite you is any use of SYS(3) to assign multiple temp file names, etc., which often results in duplicate names when moving to faster CPU's.

You might have some printing issues also, depending on what the app does with SET PRINTER TO, and whether or not they used the Novell-specific syntax.
