>When can we get you to go anywhere so people can meet you? What did David do to have the honor?
I have a not undeserved reputation of a hermit, and, indeed, I do live on top of a mountain (well, would you believe steep hill?). Actually, there have been a series of near-misses, which makes me think it may not ever happen. In 1998, I had to be in Orlando in May on family business. DevCon was that month. Unfortunately, I couldn't work things out so I'd be there at the same time. I was there the week before. Last February, John K., Craig and Ed R. were in Atlanta. We made plans for dinner. I even picked out the place. Unfortunately, wires got crossed and that didn't work out. I was all set to go to Miami this year for DevCon. Unfortunately, right before I was going to make reservations, some financial events occurred which, combined with my wife (AKA "The Mick") being off work for 8 months, made that impossible.
David got the dubious honor, by asking a favor. In order for me to do the favor, we had to meet. He came to Cartersville and took me to lunch. Anyone who wants to meet me, can come to Cartersville and take me to lunch. I'll be happy to go.< vbg >
