>When you get on the Internet and search for something, you go to several different sites looking for the same information. People like to have many resources, and everyone here know we need to have a few more resources for FoxPro. FoxPro by my standards is one of the most powerful database languages out there, and one of the things that can kill a product is not finding enough resources to support it.

Hi nanoman,

Making another forum doesn't really help all that much, but then of course, some people might prefer your interface, others might prefere the UT's and I guess that's how several communities thrive even though they pretty much cover the same interests.

If your interest is that more resources are available, at least to me, it would make more sense to actually CREATE content. Again, this is my opinion, but I have a hard enough time keeping up with the UT alone, so for a user like me, to have to go to three or four different forums and newsgroups posting questions, answers, or comments, rather than an advantage is more time I have to spend sifting through tons of information, ultimately leading to a smaller ROI (return on investment).

On the other hand, after reading your initial message and learning the kind of work you do, since I'm not going to be a regular visitor of your forum (for the reasons I gave above), your starting your own forum means that I loose the opportunity to interact with another talented developer.

>When I search for other languages such as java, vb, perl, etc... I find wealth’s of information. The case is not the same for FoxPro, and I with many others out there would like to see that change.

As I said before, create original content.

Alex
