Microsoft is supposed to demo VFP6 for everyone lucky enough to have the time and money to attend the Developer Conference in San Diego in mid-September. However, even then, we still won't know a date. I have heard rumors about first quarter 1998. Then, I saw officially where it will be released simultaneously with the next release of Visual Studio that was just released for the first time this in March. So, I guess we'll see, but it certainly is getting closer to release than not. MS did show a sneak peek of it back in October 1996 at DevCon. However, I don't even know whether or not it's even in testing mode at this point. If I had to guess (and I certainly am not in violation of any NDA's since I haven't signed any this year :) ), I would say VFP6 might be in early alpha testing. But, what the heck do I know?
