Unfortunatly we had it that way and they asked us to change it!! We questioned it but they didn't like the fact that they had an extra mouse click on msg box to display the Journal #. Go figure - big clicks get what they want. <g>

anyways were back to the drawing board...Maybe we will get Sql to do the processing and VFP to update the Journal #'s after they have been locked to this serires of entries.
