I just received this 'erroneous' error message NOT ENOUGH MEMORY TO COMPLETE THIS OPERATION when a form was opening a local view and the view did not select any records. The view was attempting to select records from a table using a condition on a logical field => IF fieldname TRUE. The table that the view was based on had a 'configuration' record that should always be there but i had inadvertantly deleted it.

The view was marked as NODATA ON LOAD. In the LOAD method i requery the view, =REQUERY('viewname') and then moved the record pointer to the top. At some point in the process, the NOT ENOUGH... msg would display. I undeleted the record and everything worked fine.
