>Ultimately the ethic and morality of the line from Star Trek is the point.

>>Do you also believe that "all you need in life you learned from kindergarten”

For you... yes.

>>Here’s a clue for you: It wasn't a moral lesson; it was a TV show.

I said that the line.... was a lesson and it is if you have a brain to see it. Again, something that you just can not do so here it is spelled out for you.

The point of the line is that sometimes the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the individual. I realize this will be lost on a self centerd person but the truth is universal. It is found in almost EVERY world religion and ethic. It may be stated in different words but the truth is there.

Truth can show up in a lot of different places my friend.

When the line is given (in a Star Trek Movie not a t.v. show! ) the character has just given his life so that the "many" could escape certian death. That, in any understanding, is not trivial but again, will be lost on someone that thinks only of themselves.

Just yesterday in Atlanta a little 8 year old girl was run over by a van. She was hit because her little cousin was in the way and she darted in to push him out of the way. A little 8 year old understood this.... why can't you and why would you be telling me to "grow up" when you can even understand something that an 8 year old can?

>>I suppose you think the womanizing way in which the characters interacted is >>acceptable as well? And the way they portrayed women? Wow. You, sir, scare me.

No I do not. No such line was or ever has been quoted by me and once again you show your ignorance of just who I am as a person.

How did you come to that conclusion? Where did those words come from my mouth? How is it you think you can make such a conclusion about me? Josh... I have over 20 years experience in counseling and helping people from addicts, criminals, depression, you name it and I've seen it and helped people over come it.. well most of the time anyway. < s > I've helped hundreds of people have better lives so you are WAY off base.

You have been the one drawing unfair conclusions here. I have tried and tried to make peace but it is clear that you just are not interested so believe what you will and that is fine.
