Hi Kim....
If I am following your request correctly....
Use the Save/export option in the file menu of Access.
At the bottom of the dialog you can select a file type.
I would try to export as fox 2.0 first or perhpas fox 2.5
if that did not work try dbase3
One of these should export and then import into your 2.6 file.
