Well, according to the Wiki URL I posted earlier, "Note that you would do this in a many-user situation to give each user a local DBC for views to minimize lock contention on the master shared DBC, which becomes an important factor with, say, 40 or more (or less) concurrent users."

So, if contention is a problem with views, I'd think you'd reduce contention by having the stored procs stored locally too. Besides, I wanted to know if its possible, and how to do it. I'll see if it gives me anything.
