If you are wanting to learn VB, they would probably be willing to teach you VB. When I left a year ago, they were starting to do all new development in VB and eventually were going to rewrite their FoxPro apps in VB and convert all data to SQL Server. So, by now they should have a mix of both VB and Foxpro apps.

Ashley is a big company. I didn't leave because I didn't like the company, I left because I wanted to concentrate on doing web development full time.
