I've really got to start compiling a list of these "gotcha's". We've already taken the step of breaking down all of our SELECTS into it's component parts (WHERE, ORDER BY, JOIN, etc.) so we can construct a syntactically correct SQL statement as needed through our SQL object. I guess there's just no way to write a generic SQL statement that works for all back-ends. :(
So much for the "SQL Standard". HA!
