>>I wasn't aware that when I was in the Chat room, (goodness, was that me there last night...impossible!) I failed to meet your qualifications as a user of Chat.

The failure of the mechanism is it does not create a knowledge repository. You get to repeat yourself over and over and over, especially with no effective means of generating a searchable FAQ.

I'd prefer to see the UT build a more useful, widely-searchable FAQ. I'd be pleased to see Michel invest significant time in this rather than IRC, from the standpoint that it's more productive in the long run. And I'd still like a shot and a beer.

>>Geez, even us silly paying customers agree with you!

>Since you insist on referring to the money you have spent here over and over again, I'll let you know that I did used to have a PUTM, but didn't feel it was worth it, so I let it lapse.

So your opinion that PUTM isn't worth it is of greater value to the UT management than my opinion that PUTM is more valuable to me than the cost? OK; vote with your wallet. If you believe that paying a membership fee would be worth an investment on your part if specific services were rendered, I believe the standard approach is an offer along the lines of "If I...will you..?" When you get your answer, apply the content of your wallet as appropriate. I've already stated what value I place on the IRC Server wrt the content of my wallet.

I did pay attention to your statement that you felt that PUTM was not worth the cost of its services; I stated a contrary belief. I went further and expressed my disinterest in a particular feature that you find objectionable. AFA Michel is concerned, I've told him I don't care if he changes the IRC Server AFA my PUTM fee, and if he's into investing time doing something, there are other, more pressing, issues that do concern me and my willingness to pay for PUTM.

>>I expressed a POV. I expressed the opinion that I'll continue to pay to be a PUTM regardless of whether there's a UT Chat or not.
>
>And that isn't the issue here. You might as well just got on here and posted that you like or dislike cheese.
>

Depends on the type and temperature. I don't care about the IRC Server, and I will continue to be a PUTM even if Michel does not change anything. That's the issue from my POV. Regardless of your POV.

>>Now, I realize us poor old bamboozled dimwits can't understand that your opinion is the Gospel of the One True Profit. Oh, well, just a different BBOFT. Muslims tend to avoid ham sandwiches.
>
>Yes, bring something else into this that has nothing to do with the issue. That adds so much to the thread.
>

Sorry, I see it as the entire issue. You don't feel UT is worth paying to be a member, and the IRC setup sux. This is an opinion.

I feel UT is worth paying for regardless of the IRC. This is also an opinion.

>Nice.
