For a VFPer to learn VB is not very difficult. Most of what you need to learn you already know because of the similarities between the languages and the fact that we use a lot VBA in our VFP development.

Watch out for some of the idiosyncrasies. Here is a site that talks about some of the common VFP to VB gotchas: http://members.home.net/bmassi/my_visual_basic_tips.htm.

The VB forum here is not bad, traffic is a bit slow, but most of the people there are doing what you are trying to do.
