Hi kultar,
>The sys(2333,1) caused my prototype report work correctly without the c0000005 message. However, when I started to test with my actual reports, I started to get other error messages - also c0000005 but more critically VFP would crash.
Usually these kind of errors are due to HP printer drivers. You could do one of two things:
1. Reset the numeric Coprosessor after and before command that 'touches' the printer driver:
DECLARE _fpreset IN msvcrt20.dll
=_fpreset()
2. Replace the HP printer driver with a HP driver that comes with one of the Windows setup CDs; they are approven by MS
Walter,
>Now these reports were CR 4.5 vintage which I had opened in 8.0 and saved (as recommended by Seagate). These have 3 subreports and there is a lot of formatting code run in VFP (turning on fields, setting page breaks, fonts etc). After hours of bracketing code to turn off all such formatting, a colleague suggested exporting the .rpt to a .rpt format - hoping that if there was something carrying over from 4.5 that was not cleaned out by a simple save in 8.0 that would get flushed out. AND viola, pay dirt. It works.

>Thanks again for your help. I will post this under a CR RDC 8.0 tips message so that others may benefit.
