Hennie,
I started a thread about base64 encoded file. I how we will find a utilities that can extract the data from your file.

>When you choose the file/open function in the menu and open this file: http://207.46.134.45:80/ms/msdn/vstudio/foxpro300.asf, media player does not allow to save the file (the "save as" is grayed) and it is not cached in the "Temporary Internet Files" folder.
>Conclusion: Microsoft does not want us to download this file.
>So I have created a VB application using two winsock controls that logs everything Media Player sends and receives. Playing the complete asf file resulted in a log file of 139 Mb. Converting the data from this log to an asf file needs some additional study and work :-)
>I assume the data in the logfile is base64 encoded, any ideas how to proceed ?
