>Hard to say how much slower. Naturally, the week before there are a lot of posts connected with arrangements and so on. The week after is tough to gauge. In 1998, VFP 6.0's features were demo'd. Since it was released the following fall, it was a lot closer to release than VFP 7.0 is now. The week following was about 25% higher in number of posts. Last year, 7.0 was demo'd, but the number of posts only rose about 10% the following week.

I'm guessing that you'll start seeing some of the regulars here at DEVCON posting today and tomorrow, since the computer lab is available now with T-something (very fast) connections. The phone lines here at the hotel are difficult to work with.
