That's my backup plan in case nobody finds a nice & easy VFP command for that. <g> I've looked but my eyes have deceived me before. I would have figured this (and other object-related commands) would have made it's way into the command set by now. Oh well, I've lived with it since fpd back in '90 so why not write yet another function that'll (hopefully) get included into Fox in the next release. <s>
