271854. It does not give the complete address [I think 8 of the 12 characters are in the return value], but it does return a unique ID for the computer.
Mark,
I just tested this on several computers and I am having a problem. On one PC running Win 98 I get a different number each time I run the rtn and none of the numbers resembles the NIC address. On other PCs I do get about the last 8 bytes. Any ideas?
