Batch file questions: Most of my clients are not very computer literate, and have a habit of doing the datafiles in. To solve this, I run FoxFix at startup.... but if all else fails, I have a little routine that copies the dbf,fpt and ?dx files to a backup directory (batch file), and then calls a little foxpro exe that clears out the files, and appends the info. The FP exe is actually part of the upgrade routine that I use so that I can change datafiles at will, and not have my customers going nuts with lost data. Anyway, the batch file works like a champ under WIN95, but it won't run the FP .exe under Win31. The lines look like this: ins_conv.exe . exit The period passes a parameter to the fp exe to use the file where it is located. Any idea's. This is making me NUTS. Adolph
