Now I see what you're up to...don't know if this'll help, but I simulate what you're trying to do with screen capturing Hypersnap. Basically, you take a disjoint capture of each visible section of the grid (like 1/2 the grid columns in each) and then paste them together in any software that is capable, resizing as needed (MS Word is one example). I've never tried to automate it, but maybe it could be done somehow...
