Hello everyone. I have a APC Back-UPS 500 connected via serial cable (from APC) to my Dual PPro machine, and am having trouble finding some monitoring software that works.
Both Powerchute and the SSD (Simple Signaling Daemon) just shut the power off to the machine on loss of power. And that just sucks. It doesn't halt any services or shutdown the OS, it just powers down the computer.
Anyone have any successful UPSd stories for me?
