IF C++ can produce "unmanaged code" or CLR-dependent "managed code" then this seems like the logical approach for VFP8, VFP "unmanaged code" with backward compatability and "managed code" that will use the CLR. It would certainly be simple to have the intellisense tell you what code would not work under the CLR. Of course it would not hurt if MS would also issue an official press release that this is their intention.
