Thanks so much David. I really appreciate experts who can give me some quick, tried-and-true tips. I have no problem reading the VFP help, my Hacker's Book from LaRoche and Tamar, but sometimes, as now, when I'm in a time crunch I need expert insight.

As to the Grid RecordSource issue we discussed previously, if I use a View, what goes in the RecordSource and the RecordSourceType properties?
