This is a more of a "Can I?" question.
I have an application that normally runs on a client's server. They want to distribute this application as a "black box" to their customers. It will accept a single parameter and go from there.
The trick is that they don't want to call it from Windows. It needs to interface with their own application, which is written in C++.
If I create an out-of-process automation server out of it, do any changes need to be made to my application?
How will the application be called by theirs?
I know these are all basic questions, but all the references I've seen on this topic focus mainly on in-process automation servers. There aren't any examples that I've found that does what I am describing.
Can anybody help or lead me to a good reference on this topic?
Thanks!
