Good? IMO we'll have to wait and see.

Inevitable? Probably, but as has been mentioned, we VFP'ers are kind of fortunate in that we're not having these changes forced on us.

Healthy (from the POV of the long-term viability of VFP)? Probably little or no impact. I see this as a kind of combination blessing & curse - a wash, if you will. If CLR bombs we look great. If CLR booms we add it in the next rev - after the MSFT folks have graciously given us the opportunity to speak our collective minds. I'd bet that a lot of the VB folks didn't have that opportunity and from where I sit they are going to go through massive pain to migrate.

Seems like everything is coming our direction....
