Yes.

Nope...

They are never "turned on." If you USE a table in a Persistant Relationship, it doesn't autotmatically create the relation ship in your data session. In fact, the only place PRs come over from the DBC is when you add tables to a Form's DE, but you can still change them around or remove them all together.

You still have to define relationships with SET RELATION or in teh DE (they are called Temporary Relations now but work the same as before) even if there is a Persistant Relation. PRs are in the Database for setting up Referential Integrity.
