I keep getting "Field name is a duplicate or invalid " when I try to open a dbf created from the 'save as dbase III' option in excel.
The help on this says :
A field in the table already has that name.
You used a space, or one of ., ", /, \, [, ], :, |, <, >, +, =, ;, *, or ? in the field name.
but nowhere can I find this. Any ideas?
