No. It'll just get more people using VFP in inappropriate situations (wearing my flame-retardent clothes). 2GB can be gotten around by a lot of other means in the very few valid cases where VFP should be used as a data store with 2+ GB of data.

I don't think this issue can be discussed intelligently until a few months after we've all played with VS.NET.
