Hey Craig,
The more I think about it, the more sense it makes to have VFP on WinCE. In fact, since scalability is not an issue, having a language with a native data store and DML like VFP makes a whole helluva lot of sense.
I can see where VFP could become a "tool of choice" in the WinCE world: The things it gets dinged on in the distributed Windows world become assets in the handheld world.
A strong and compelling business case can be made for it. And if you strip out backwards compatibility stuff and, maybe, triggers and stored procs to get the footprint down, maybe it is technically possible?
This has my strong and enthusiastic support :-)
