I made a report change, recompiled and redistributed it to them. They are having with their newly-installed version.

Yes, and I haven't changed SDT code involving reindex, update and repair.

They say, "If I index with the Stonefield utility, some tags get blown away. I know this because I use VFP to look at the indexes, fix them and reindex."

They are using report writers and other software, so they are using the indexes at times outside of SDT's control. Is this a problem?
