It is not clear what you are trying to do. cGridList is a grid. Do you want to replace the GRID or replace the PAGEFRAME.

What exactly is the problem you are having that you want to replace the pageframe? I would not suggest doing this as there is a lot of functionality in the parent class that would not execute if you used a different pageframe. Also, if the new pageframe is an OCX, you are going to have other issues as well. It's not that it can't be done, it's just much more complex, and life is already complex enough!

If you need to make a page invisible, have you tried setting the visible property to .f. ?
