Hmmmm... so CLR addresses cross-platform issues but with a lot of trade-offs. Well, the road is becoming clearer to me now. If VFP7 will not run on CLR, I would tend to dedicate more time doing hardcore VB. Assuming that VFP8 will have CLR, that means availability would be 2004 at the earliest (guess).
