Folks,
Well, well, well, it's really a complex issue. But your inputs gave me a clear understanding on how this .NET and CLR thing affects our traditional way of developing software. Our company is now in the process of changing our Software Architecture. With this objective in mind, we are thinking of using VB as the UI layer while business layer will be done in VFP COM components. VB-UI layer because of its support on Win Forms and WEB Forms on the next version. VFP-Biz layer because of our fluency in the language and its DML power. This thread gives me a second thought now because it seems that the template (semi-framework) that I am doing in VB will be revised comes VB7 because backward compatibility issue. What do you think?
