Alright, so I'm trying to download and install Corel WordPerfect 8 for Linux (the free edition), and everytime I run the install, it dies. I tried downloading from Tucows and CDROM.com. I get the tarball, uncompress it, then uncompress each of the files inside like the README says to do, run the Runme script, and while it is further decompressing, I get an error that says "Expected Integer" and from there it just goes downhill until finally after I enter in my install directory, the whole thing dies. Plus, the GUI install fails, so it is attempting the text mode install.
I'm running Redhat 7 with Gnome & Sawmill. I have KDE installed, but prefer Gnome & Sawmill at the moment. When I originally installed this a year ago it worked fine. Does anyone else have a story about this, or at least a clean source that they know works that I can use for my install?
Thanks.
