With screen=off in your config.fpw you need to make sure your form's ShowWindow property is not set to 0-in screen. Otherwise you're form in in the hidden foxpro screen. That may be why VFP is still running. Set all of your forms ShowWindow properties to 2-As Top Level Form or 1-In Top Level Form.
