It sounds like the kind of error I get when I compile my application on a drive other than C: (like E:) and then have the user run it on their C: drive. FoxPro puts a reference to the development drive letter in the application and if the user doesn't have an E: drive (such as a CD-ROM drive with no CD in it) then they get the error. If the user has a CD-ROM that is E: then they can put in any CD (either music or data) and you shouldn't get the error.

The real fix is to open the application file with a Hex editor and search for the development drive letter. When you find it you can change it to C: and save your changes. That should take care of it.
