Rob,
If you are running win95 at home you are not using Win32s even with VFP 3.0, win32s is only used when running under 16 bit windows.
I would recomment that you develop in the version that the system will be run in. That just eliminates version problems from your work. This is very important whiule you are learning the language because you don't really need one more complexity added to your efforts.
