I third the recommendation about west wind. used it about a year and like it an awful lot. Particularly if you are first FoxPro or Visual FoxPro programmer. It really does help to be good with HTML though since there is no visual design interface (with the caveat that you can write VFP forms and convert them to westwind)

As far as your ODBC problem are the tables open from the server or from some other client machine? That is is VFP running on the server?

Do you have the latest VFP ODBC driver?
