No problems at all!
Just be sure that you don't modify the table or add indexes from the VFP IDE or you will need to COPY TO MyTable TYPE FOX2X to restore the table header to be a FPW free table.
Down the road you can add records, edit, and delete just fine. Anything where you would like to have DBC functionality you can use a view.
